Solar Eclipse I
This Solar Eclipse Mixed Media Art was created right after witnessing the Total Solar Eclipse August 2017 in Oregon.
A Solar Eclipse occurs when a portion of the Earth is engulfed in a shadow cast by the Moon which fully or partially blocks sunlight. This occurs when the Sun, Moon and Earth are aligned. In a total eclipse, the disk of the Sun is fully obscured by the Moon. In partial and annular eclipses, only part of the Sun is obscured.
Eclipses often mark a major turning point. Solar eclipses tend to create new beginnings and bright new opportunities. Usually, they are exciting, are often very positive, and bring news out of the blue.
For me, this eclipse marked the beginning of my new art direction of ASTRO ART.
