Inferno on Mars

Inferno on Mars was created with the paint pouring technique. More details were emphasized with acrylic paint by bringing out more contrast between the eruption bubbles. After adding some bursting stars the artwork was finished with a shiny epoxy resin layer.

The painting shows an eruption on Mars. It was created on the day in July 2019 when Uranus was square to Mars and the tension in this constellation inspired this bold and unpredictable paint pour.
